Remember the thrill of releasing a balloon into the sky and watching it sail into the distance? That same wonder can be re-lived every time we catch a glimpse of balloon that is in the air. Be sure to ignite that wonder by coming out to the Moffat County Balloon Festival. For August 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, if the weather permits, there will be hot air balloons every morning
at 6:30am
. Plan to spend Saturday exploring Craig, Colorado. There is the Museum of Northwest Colorado, Wyman Living History Museum, Sand Wash Basin Wild Horse Herd, historic downtown, and so much more. There will be all kinds of fun and activities including a car show, 5K walk/run, indian dancers, bingo, live music and even a rubber ducky race to support hospice. The balloon launches and the activities will be at the Loudy Simpson Park. If you have questions, call Randy Looper at
