In what has become an annual tradition for a great cause, the annual Ladies Night Out is this Friday at Western Park. The theme, a ‘Celebration of Freedom’, is especially fitting as the funds raised benefit the Rapha House, an organization with safe houses in Cambodia, Thailand, and Haiti for girls who have been victims of sex trafficking. It is difficult to comprehend that girls as young as 4 years old are served by this organization though the average age is between 10 and 12 years old. The brains and heart behind the event is Karen Redden, who is known by many in the community as a wonderful elementary school teacher. The event has grown each year and last year was able to raise over $17,000 dollars to help sex trafficking victims. This year there will again be dinner, entertainment, a raffle, and auction as well as crafts for younger girls in attendance. Tickets are $15 dollars and doors open at the Western Park
