The Uintah Basin is proud to be sending students off to Future Business Leaders of America Nationals in
San Antonio, Texas
, this summer. The FBLA program serves to teach high school students about the workforce and the many aspects that go into the world of business, including graphic design, leadership, and communication skills. These students learn to develop marketable skills for the changing world. Four students from each competition at the state level are invited to the National Convention. The state competition was held on March 11, 12, and 13, with the final list of National attendees being finalized on Monday, April 2. Those attending this year from schools throughout the Uintah Basin will be Altamont’s Ethan Abegglen, McKenzie Anderson, Braxton Hyde, and Shauri Thacker; Duchesne’s Cassandra Zander; Uintah’s Madison Bulloch and Alli Morton; and Manila’s Kanelle Browning, Kaytlin Mosley, Brody Schofield, and Kodee Thomas. We’d like to wish them luck as they represent Utah, and furthermore, represent the Basin, in their competitions.
