A crash involving a semi truck and a passenger car resulted in tragedy
on Saturday evening
near Strawberry Reservoir. According to Utah Highway Patrol, a white Kenworth semi truck pulling two tankers was traveling eastbound on Highway 40
around 7:40pm
near Mile Marker 40 while a gray Honda Accord had been traveling northbound on Strawberry Road. “The Accord pulled out in front of the Kenworth while attempting to make a left turn. The semi truck impacted the Accord on the driver side door. The male driver of the Accord, 25 year old Gaje Combs, out of American Fork, was killed in the crash. The female passenger of the Accord was flown to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center,” shares UHP. “Those were the only two occupants in the Accord. The driver of the Kenworth was taken to Heber Valley Medical Center.” Our condolences to those affected by this accident.
