The beauty, grace and speed of hummingbirds is always something to behold but we are still learning about them. DWR biologists are teaming up with Bureau of Land Management and Utah State Parks to learn what they can about the migration patterns of hummingbirds. The event will start with a lecture that will be held
on Friday, July 26th, starting at 7pm
at the Utah Field House of Natural History State Park Museum. The group will go into the field
on Saturday, July 27th
, to capture hummingbirds. The birds will have bands put on their legs and then released safely back into the wild. The data gathered from the bands will help biologists learn more about the life cycles and the migratory trips of the hummingbird.
