Just as consistent as school starting again in the fall, the BackPack Project is getting ready to help the community. Duchesne County Chamber of Commerce reports that that they have received the donated backpacks. Now it is time to fill them! Community members are asked that while buying school supplies for their own children or grandchildren, purchase a few extra items and donate them to the BackPack Project. Items are needed for all ages and grades and can be dropped off at the Crossroads Senior Center in Roosevelt. “We work with schools and non-profits to make sure children have the opportunity to be successful,” shares the Duchesne County Chamber. This project is a joint effort of the Chamber Office, Travel and Tourism Office, Duchesne County Development Corp, and the citizens of the area.
