Though weather stopped the crews working on 800 South in Roosevelt for several days in May, the project has been fortunate to be developing rather well and paving the road is set in mid-June. The completed part of the project was funded by Utah Department of Transportation which includes the curb and gutter between State Street and 800 South, as well as the sidewalk along the south side of the street. The work was done by BHI and the final walk-through is expected to take place
June 13th.
The next part of the project will be paving the road and installing the sidewalks along the north side of the street. This section is funded by the Community Impact Board and the work will be done by Burdick Materials. The paving is scheduled to be finished by
June 20th.
Even with all this progress, the entire project will take until the fall just before school starts.
