Another suspect has been identified and charged in a May robbery during which a coin collection was taken from a Roosevelt residence. 26-year-old Tyjobe McCrone was already in jail in Southern Utah in an unrelated case when the warrant from Duchesne County caught up to McCrone on felony burglary charges. McCrone and two others allegedly entered a Roosevelt property through the garage. They accessed the attic and broke through sheetrock to enter the home where they found a safe. They pried the safe open and found several dozen coins inside which they pawned in Salt Lake City for $500 dollars. During the investigation it was revealed that the coins are worth ten times that much. St. George News reports that Tyjobe McCrone is from LaVerkin and that investigators believe he is responsible for multiple thefts in southern Utah as well and has been in custody in Washington County since being arrested on June 14th.
