An accident resulted in injury on Highway 40 on Tuesday morning in Uintah County. According to Utah Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 11:30am on SR-40 Mile Marker 153. A motorcycle was traveling in front of a passenger car, both traveling eastbound. As the motorcycle slowed to turn into ‘8 Ball Trucking’, the passenger car struck the motorcycle from the rear. “The motorcyclist got a broken clavicle,” shares UHP. “The driver of the passenger car was cited for following too close.”
